Cowabunga we left stalled at the windward mark,somehow got ahead by 27 mins to get second on the downwind. We beat all the displacement boats, missing out on Bravura by a choking 45 secs,also an ultralight carbon boat. All in all we put in a great performance and were with the leaders at the windward mark.Mark Katzenberg from Disney called to ask about movie rights for the comeback, but he can fuck right off. Well done everybody, a good start to the year.

Jorge got everyone pumped about Argentinian meat for the BBQ, and he was not talking about himself, at least we hoped not.

Things got infinitely better as we approached the finish, with winds picking up considerably. Elliott took that photo above, so I guess I should sort of give him credit for that, though I’m convinced he took it accidentally, and it was salvaged by my kick-ass editing skills.

Chris was a champ.

Lugano came 3rd, 20 seconds after Margaritaville! Awesome job, with Jorge at the helm, while our skipper was enjoying a great time in London.
