So the flying tiger beat us in by roughly 52 mins corrected to 33 mins, don’t remember seeing them. Cowabunga we left stalled at the windward mark,somehow got ahead by 27 mins to get second on the downwind. We beat all the displacement boats, missing out on Bravura by a choking 45 secs,also an ultralight carbon boat. All in all we put in a great performance and were with the leaders at the windward mark.Mark Katzenberg from Disney called to ask about movie rights for the comeback, but he can fuck right off. The trip out to Catalina started out a bit worrisome, since winds were pretty light toward the start of the race.
